it was indeed a get away! it was so relaxing!!!
feels so great to be away from the city and away from stress...
it was a great time to have a chitchat with friends and appreciate what nature has to offer...
we hit the road early saturday and arrived at port stephens around midday, just in time to satisfy our starving tummies!!! the rest of the afternoon was spent at the beach and needless to say that i was bbqd - not that i care, i'm already black anyway!
after dinner, we enjoyed our stay in our very nice apartment and talked about all sorts of things, from love/relationships/religion/movies/music/places/bit of work which we decided to stop as its making us cranky/other people/other countries/lifestlyle/other people/etc etc, over bottles of beer of course, until everyone finally gave up and called the night/dawn off - it was almost 3 am!!!!
the next day, sunday, is a sunday of a liftetime for me! we went sailing!!!! that was really great!!! i haven't done that before and initially i was a bit scared when i saw the catamaran which reminds me of my near death experience on water when i was a kid - but good thing, my excitement ruled!!! thanks to ramesh who did all the work while myself and constance just sat in the catamaran like beauty queens enjoying the water splashes and the cool wind!!! (and oh, another thing, buti na lang, slim kami, otherwise, we wouldn't have sailed together, cos technically, the catamaran is just for 2!)
been there, definitely going back! still a lot of activities waiting....
