took a leave today... i realised i still have enough annual leave credits (contradictory to a negative sick leave credit),so why not use it?!...
my day started with a makata greeting for rondz for his birthday...
then had a chat with my brother and it ended with him asking for a camera for christmas... wew!...
today is declared a shopping day... my flight is just 3 months away and its time to start filling up my box... went to birkenhead point...
ending: had a bag for myself and nothing for pasalubong!!!!... hay, para sa sarili ang nabili!!!
then off to rondz place for his birthday... we had pansit, crispy pata, roasted chicken, + strawberry cheesecake...
to save my "face"... i promised not to drink... poor me...

holy wednesday...
Last sunday, father richard announced that this wednesday (yesterday), the parish will be open for eucharistic adoration... i felt a mix of longing and excitement... i missed it so much...
The adoration chapel used to be my refuge... i feel so secure when im there... i know in my heart that no matter what mood i am in, He is there to listen to me... when im sad, He cheers me up; when im happy, the more delighted i become; when im lost, He makes me realise that i have a purpose in life and He helps me live it up... that may sound so selfish, just thinking of how good to be there is it for myself, but no... talking to him is my way of returning His love... being there to adore Him is above all... it feels so great to have a private conversation with Him. So when i learned about that news, im so excited to go back to my adoration days... to go back to track...
The eucharistic adoration is a way to return His love for us and to draw spiritual strength and nourishment and encouragement from that love... besides, how can we reject an invitation for the most peaceful hour of the week...

On a lighter note, comedian din talaga tong c Lord, mejo tinest pa nya talaga ko if bukal sa kalooban ko ang pagpunta sa adoration... how?... papunta: twice akong iniwanan/naiwanan ng bus!!!... first instance: driver says "sorry, two only"... wew, im third!... second instance: with effort ang pagtakbo to catch the bus, sorry, blind ang driver... pauwi: bus just left, so need to wait for 30 minutes... freezing winter!!! oh well...
And oh, i felt i was already in Rome during the benediction... un lang...

one material thing i literally can't live without at the moment ---my laptop...
ewan ko ba, my day is so not complete without logging to the net... i used to be a tv addict back in the philippines, but since i got here in sydney, my addiction shifted from the tv to my laptop and the net...
when im at home, if im not asleep or cleaning or doing my laundry... for sure, im surfing the net... be it early morning or late at night to dawn... i can't afford to stare blankly at our ceiling... and hmmm, for the record, i can't remember when i last turned our tv on... dith is the official taga-on ng tv...
ewan, my laptop is such a part of me...
like now, while my friends are singing, a.k.a. videoke, i am blogging... hmmm let's just say its a talent to do multiple things at the same time (i.e. only proves i am a woman)... so while singing with them and chatting with them, my fingers are typing...

its september 1... official start of the "ber" months... and to kick off the christmas season... we celebrated christmas on ice ---- jaran... ice skating at the entertainment quarter in moore park... and for the record, hindi ako natumba, yehey, except nung sumama ako ke rondz and had fun in the center of the rink... super bilis and when we turned, boom, nyahahaha =) not once but twice... hahaha

another good thing... bought the first album of anthony plus another cd which is a compilation of inspirational songs... can't wait to listen to both...
