cold summer

i've been asked more than a couple of times already
what is summer like in sydney
and my responses have been consistent
extremely hot
so hot for oz's to adore the sun
and rush off to the beach

extermely hot,
yes! that was last year!
now, im taking it back.

summer 2008
equals cold summer
equals windy day
equals wet wet wet

im not lovin' it,
at least, not yet

i still have to go to the beach
would love to lie down in bondi
still hopes to bike in manly
need a reason to buy new sunnies
not in the mood to get wet yet
the list goes on...
